Startup Infrastructure Diagram

In recent years, there has been a significant, and at times overwhelming growth of startup initiatives around the world. Although this is great for entrepreneurship, on the downside it can be difficult to sift through and understand exactly what’s on offer. A clear overview is often lacking.

Our Startup Infrastructure Diagram helps regions map their supporting ecosystem. It highlights the organisations and entities that form the supporting infrastructure of an ecosystem in a specific geographical location. This diagram acts as discussion paper for policy makers and ecosystem builders while giving startups guidance of all the support available in their region, and where to find it.

“The SME Support Ecosystem diagram has been an excellent tool to help map the various programmes and initiatives that extend services to SMEs in Oman. The five pillars against which the mapping has been done provide a valuable insight on areas where we might have sufficient offerings verses those that require some further development. Moreover, the diagram provides some important guidance for SMEs on where to go for what services or support. I am pleased to say that the published diagram echoed very well across many public and private organisations and created the aspired dialogue towards improvement and further development”.
